Flex Into Foundation

In this DVD learn how Bruce and Stormy develop a 'foundation of feel', offering a horse choice and responsibility and encourage a horse to use his body efficiently with balance. In detail you will see how to shape and flex a horse, from his core, and specifically learn how to ride that shape through your own body and legs.

The furry ones in Crowborough think that they have successfully got onto the blog so they are testing it with this message. We hope that it registers.

Well, trust the Logan's to push us just a bit beyond the comfort zone!!!!! I'd just got used to the other site and now I have to learn to be a blogger.. whatever next! it will be good to get ideas of what to do when you are up to your knees in mud and water to keep the foundation going! Any suggestions?
All the best Jane
Hello Stormy,
I am having an issue with Freedom still. He is still trying to kick out at me when working on a lead line. He will also pin his ears and charge after me. He does not show any signs of aggression while walking but as soon as I ask for a gait change to even a faster walk he bucks and turn his rear in my direction while he is bucking. I can saddle him and walk him but ask for a gait change and he starts bucking. I am stuck in a bad place with him and could use some ideas on what to do. I have now changed to a lunge line but have not worked with him in about three weeks as I could not get enough distance between us when that starts.I know you say send him down to you folks but with the limitations he has I am not sure about sending him as I would like to send down a horse that could excell with the training and not just walk...The other day I went into the pasture and he stayed laying on his side so I sat with him and he stayed. I am able to move him around while mucking stalls or changing food bowls with no aggression......really not understanding why he is so angry.....
Well this is a new venture for me too but like everything esle in life, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Hope everyione is doing ok and looking forward to seeing reply re Freedom. It's amazing what we can pick up from another's issues...
